ARCHITECTURE INTERIORS LANDSCAPES MEDIA OBJECTS RESEARCH ECOLOGY

What would an expanded theory of cybernetics in architecture be?

CYBERNETICS

Cybernetic theory is the study of communications and control within a system, or between an observer and a system. We believe that architecture, the historical practice of organising media, signs, technology and people in space, has much to bring to, and learn from, an expanded theory of cybernetics. Such a project, which must necessarily combine communications theory with morphology, pattern, archetype and demographics, is profoundly ecological.
